ABOUT US

We are brilliant European kennel of the Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog breed. We are located in Slovakia, the heart of the Europe.

FCI and NALC registered.

We own the breed Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog, since 2009 year, when we arrived home with our very first Catahoula puppy - Iris (BLUE LADY Devil´s Fang, SK). At this time there were only few pieces of Louisiana Catahoula Dogs and this breed was not known very well.

In the year 2012 another one Catahoula Leopard female found home in us (Coahoma CAYCE, SK). In the same year 2012 our website started and about next few months later the FCI organisation recognized our registration of the International Kennel Name WYANET´S, and we were official placed between kennels of the Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog breed.

Our primary breeding ambitions weren´t too big at first.

The very first Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog puppies were born in our kennel in the year 2013, after we´ve got enough informations about the Catahoula health, their complicated genetics, and about the natures of the Louisiana Catahoula Dogs, and also enough our own experiences with them.
Our kennel has the own mission, what wants to bring into the breed and breeding. Also because of this point we decided for import some new fresh Catahoula blood to Europe, for use them for revive pedigrees and shuffle the blood from "our" blood, with new blood, create new bloodlines and recovery and the assistance of the original character, exterier and nature of the Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog breed.

The Louisiana Catahoula Leopard puppies from our kennel bring happiness and full dreams about amazing dog companions in few countries of Europe.

The future owners of our Catahoula puppies are carefully selected, and very often we became good friends.
Our breeding program is builded only on healthy animals, with ballanced personalities, well socialized, with the minimal risk of hard genetical diseases and faults, or abnormalities in their natures.

As the one of the few of the Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog kennels, we do understand of Catahoula genetics, their coloring merle and piebald problems, so we know very well, which breeding couples are good to cross together.

And as the only one Slovak Catahoula kennel, we test ALL our Catahoula puppies for genetical deafhess by BAER test!

We are focused for the quality of the litters.

Catahoulas live with us as a full parts of our family and we appreciate them. We work with them, spend our time with active obedience and dog sports. Our dogs aren´t used only for producing puppies and also they don´t  spend much of time closed in cages/stalls.

In today´s part of time, the Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog becomes still more and more favourite, more popular and still more searched breed, because of it´s nature conditions, but also for their extravagant attractive color of the coat and catch eyes for unusual blue eyes.
Because of this point, we try to make the best representation of the Catahoula breed, and emphasise them in their coloring, natures, exterier and working or show abilities. We accentuate on nature and health priorities and their quality of exterier of the Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog, than coloring.

We have very strong foreing support, especially in well known American and Canadian Catahoula breeders, and we have closer cooperation with each other. We are getting new informations about the breed, their health and genetics, and by the way, also this point makes a difference between our and other kennels.

Except this fact, our Catahoula kennel has very strong up-country also here in the Slovakia and the Europe. The bloodlines of our first Catahoula belongs to Netherlands, from Netherlands to the USA, and to the very first, founder kennels of the Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog breed in the Europe and Slovakia.
